Equipment configuration common to each type
Main equipment (common)
A: Adsorption tower Container for filling adsorbent.
B: Adsorbent (placed in the adsorption tower) The adsorbent is used to adsorb VOCs in the feed gas.
The adsorbent material is used to adsorb VOCs in the feed gas. The optimal material is selected according to the gas type, concentration, and air flow rate.
C: Vacuum pump Used to desorb the adsorbed VOCs. Use a dry type to increase the purity of the recovered liquid.
Main equipment (absorption method)
(1)Absorption tower
This is a vessel for absorbing desorbed VOCs into the absorption liquid.
(2)Supply pump
Pumps to supply the absorption liquid.
(3)Recovery pump
Pumps to dispense VOC-absorbed liquid.
Main equipment (cooling method)
(1)Cooler (heat exchanger)
This is used to liquefy desorbed VOCs.
(2)Recovery tank
This is a container to collect liquefied VOC.
(3)Recovery pump
This pump is used to discharge liquefied VOCs.

Equipment required in some cases
The following equipment will be used as needed.
Feed cooler (heat exchanger)Used when the temperature of the feed gas is too high and adversely affects the adsorption.
CompressorUsed as a supply source when instrumented air is not available, or when purified gas is pressurized and discharged from the system.
BlowerUsed when VRU need control inlet pressure.
ChillerUsed when there is no chiller water or brine water.
Cooling towerUsed when cooling water is circulated in the VRU.
Cooling water pumpUsed to circulate cooling water in the VRU.
